Katrina Visualized
This visualization taks a still image of the hurricane Katrina and visualize its pixel data via Processing, revealing more about than the original image shows. The image of Katrinais loaded, and every pixel is displaced in 3D space according to its color value. The pixel also rotates in 3D space depending on the same color value.
The visualization shows how you can take data from a simple still image and use the pixel data to make the original motive come to live. You can use the mouse to rotate around the model and click/drag to zoom.
